This 10 acre property is near a quiet beach, 15minutes west of Huntsville, and central to all the attractions Muskoka offers. Our hobby farm is proud to welcome this years piglets, lambs, and chicks.

Operated by Jessica Buchholz and Michael Engelhardt, two dedicated artisans, this B&B showcases high quality handmade furniture and stained glass. A love of quality and purity is the guiding force for all the choices in our B&B. In addition to the handmade furniture, we use organic foods in our breakfasts, and handmade soaps in our baths.  Our coffee is custom roasted from organic beans.  We provide a bright cottage atmosphere with a rustic elegance, perfect for a luxurious weekend away.   

Spa services are available through our partnership with Gemini day spa.  Couples or groups can take advantage of services in their rooms, or arrange for appointments at the spa.  For more information, click on the Spa link at the top of the page.

We are happy to accommodate well behaved and well attended pets.  We have a cat and dog of our own, who stay in our wing of the house.

A private guest entrance leads to the sitting room and dining area of the guest portion of the house. Our spacious and unique home features three fully renovated bedrooms. Each room is named after the featured wood in the furnishings, and the view of the trees 

 

 

Cherry Suite	Oak Room	Maple Room
The Cherry Suite is on the ground floor with a double bed, and three piece ensuite with a two person soaker tub.	The Oak Room is upstairs facing into the forest, which can be viewed from the private balcony. It features beautiful handmade furnishings and shares a bathroom with the Maple Room.	The Maple Room is upstairs facing the front and has a gorgeous maple bed. It shares a bathroom with the Oak room and receives the best morning sunlight.

Menu

Guests of the Oak Room may choose to have their breakfast served on their private balcony. Guests of the Maple and Cherry rooms my opt for breakfast in bed.  Otherwise,  breakfasts are served in the guest dining room, which has a beautiful view of the grounds. In all our breakfasts we endeavor to provide local and organic ingredients eggs and meats.  When that is not possible, we use an outside organic source.  Our coffee is custom roasted from organic beans by Joel Beland at Covenant Farm in Clarence Creek, Ontario. We are able to accommodate a variety of diets, and the following is a sample of what is commonly available:

Surf'n'Turf Eggs Benedict
		Two poached eggs and a 5oz strip loin on 
		homemade bread , topped with two succulent shrimp and 
		smothered homemade Hollandaise sauce.  
		Served with fresh fruit or a spring greens salad.

Traditional Eggs and Bacon
		Two eggs cooked any style, with organic bacon and
		homemade bread and hash browns.

Vegetarian

 Chili and Eggs with Cornbread
		A big dish of homemade baked chili and two eggs and smothered
		in cheese.  Served with black bean salsa and cornbread.

French Toast Waffles 
		Homemade bread and made into waffles.  Served
		with fresh fruit and almond yogurt topping.

Breakfast Burritos 
		A large high fiber tortilla wrapped around scrambled eggs,
		cheese and veggies.  Served with a fresh green salad and our 
		homemade oil and vinegar dressing.

Vegan

Fresh fruit and oatmeal
		A selection of fruit and berries with high fiber mixture of grains
		and locally produced maple syrup.

Vegetable Pancakes
		Three pancakes of julienned peppers, onions, carrots and potatoes,
		served with a Cranberry chutney and roasted potatoes.

Baked apples
		Two baked organic apples filled with a variety of nuts and berries,
		oatmeal  and locally produced maple syrup.
